First accident ...

So it's true that I am a bit late concerning the blog articles. I will show you why:

We had broken the lazy jacks on our last passage. This unavoidably lead to a trip in the mast and a very very stupid accident on the way down ๐Ÿ˜“ I will give you some dramatic details as to make it seem very bad so I can be excused for the long wait between articles ๐Ÿ˜œ

The pulley where my finger got caught in ๐Ÿ˜“

We honestly thought my finger was broken in three places. I fainted a few times while Geoffrey managed to get the four of us quickly in a taxi and to the hospital. 5 hours later (apparently mondays are the busiest ๐Ÿ˜) I returned to LouiseAnna with an x-ray of my finger and a painkiller. Result: internal contusion (very bad bruise) and the top of my pinkie that was ruptured like a volcano ๐Ÿ˜– So finally I was lucky and a bit embarrassed a small pinkie could hurt so much!
You cannot imagine what such a little finger is used for. Typing, eating, swimming, even going to the bathroom... I was unable to do anything for ten days and the pain persisted a whole month...
We did have a good laugh though ๐Ÿ˜† The upside of this "adventure": Geoffrey washed my hair: divine !!!

Oh nee!
